Artist's Statement Creativity is a gift, a divine bond with the essence of life and motion. The bond between artists transcends whatever shape or form the expression embodies whether music, dance, painting, sculpture—the language of art is international…universal. African-Caribbean art, with its own unique rhythm and depth, reverberates a powerful message, a range of emotion from a people who hold fast to beauty, strength and dignity against all odds.
